Gary Lewis

Gary Lewis | MBT, BCom.

Chairman and CEO

Company’s founding director with over 30 years of capital markets and business strategy development experience. Mr. Lewis was previously Managing Director of Robust Resources Limited, an Australian-based mineral explorer and developer focused on precious and base metals and has invested, financed, and operated resource projects worth a cumulative value of over US$400 million over the past twelve years, including the acquisition and ultimate sell-down or listing of high-value, multi-commodity resource projects in Australia, the United Kingdom, Asia, and the Americas.

Peter Doyle

Peter Doyle | BSc. (Hons.)

VP, Exploration

Peter has almost 40 years of experience in all aspects of mineral exploration from regional reconnaissance to project evaluation and development, in a variety of geological terrains throughout Canada, the United States, South America and Australia. Mr. Doyle has had previous roles with PT Freeport Indonesia, Gold Fields Ltd. and Troy Resources Limited.

Dr. Joe Ferron

Dr. Joe Ferron | Ph.D., BSc.

Technical Advisor

Dr. Ferron has over 40 years experience as a Metallurgist with a specialization in hydrometallurgy of base and precious metal extraction. Over this period, Dr. Ferron has worked as a metallurgical engineer, company officer and/or consultant on cobalt related projects in Ontario, Quebec, Idaho, Zambia and the Congo. Dr. Ferron holds a number of patents (and patent applications) dealing with the extraction and recovery of base, precious and specials metals, including cobalt.  

Dr. Henry (Rick) Sandri | PhD, MA, BS

Chief Commercial Officer

Has 35 years of experience related to finance, planning, business development and executive management in the mineral resource sector. Dr. Sandri was previously the President and Chief Operating Officer of Duluth Metals Ltd. and vice-president of Inco Ltd.

Dr. Clyde Smith | PhD, MA, BS

Head, Exploration Geology

Dr. Smith is an exploration and mining geologist with over 50 years of experience. He has successfully guided projects through feasibility and development, and served as a director of several public companies including director and senior technical vice-president of Standard Gold where he led the company’s exploration and project acquisition efforts.

Jack Cartmel | CPA, CA

Chief Financial Officer

Over 15 years of experience in the mining industry with expertise in M&A, securities offerings, public company accounting and disclosure, and financial and risk management. Mr. Cartmel was previously Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Internal Audit for TSX-listed Monument Mining Ltd., a mid-size gold producer in Asia. He also spent over three years at White Tiger Gold Ltd. (formerly Century Mining Corporation), a mid-size gold producer.

Dr. Warwick Browne | PhD, MA, BS

VP, Stakeholder Relations & Environment

Warwick is a natural resource management specialist with over 30 years’ experience in natural resource management projects in Australia, south-east Asia and the Pacific. Mr. Browne has managed stakeholder relations to ensure best practice for social benefit and environmental protection in the extractive sector in Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea and advised extensively in Papua New Guinea, Mongolia, Laos, and Cambodia.
